Loot Crate???

I am a gamer! Not in the sense that teens are, but I like to play video games. Favorite right now and has been for awhile is Skyrim. Can play for hours, but I DO NOT like the ones like Black Ops and Halo, nothing wrong with them, my son plays all the time...just not for me, I need a puzzle I guess. But anyway, I just signed up for something cool. Thanks to Little C for making me and whining and bribing me all last night. it is called Loot Crate, I guess they send out onece a month a box of geek and gamer stuff. Loot Crate I am wondering what these boxes can have in them, I did do a YouTube search and saw some of past crates. So will let you know what happens.

Happy NEW YEAR!! Hope this year is a bit slower than last, time just really moves fast these days. Planning on adding more recipes and updates this year, been really slow in that area. Working 2 jobs and getting extra hours from the 2nd job this month. Not sure if it is a good thing or bad. Little C is wanting to join a gym so he can get in shape and gain confidence, and he put it that way! Not sure if I should be worried or not? Added a Coupon page Coupons

My little Fashion Diva at her best. Amazing how nice and lovable they get the month of December and right around the time she handed me her 2 page wish list! Crazy! Now if I could just get the boy to want something that is less than 500 bucks....

and maybe not computer or video game related. But that is a big dream these days.

I am on a journey to upgrade our lives!

Not sure what that really means, but the thought occurred to me several months ago and i have ran with it.  I am NO English major, and have NO writing skills what-so-ever, please do not expect me to have proper grammar and spelling.  It just will not happen! I write like I talk, which can be good or bad.  I have been known to have a very colorful vocabulary.

As far as the Journey goes, I am working to change the Mind Set of my Hubby about food, He thinks if it comes from a box or can, it has to be good for you!!  I did not grow up like that at all, I was raised by my Grandparents and they canned everything and made from scratch.  The hard part is when he looks at me and says “we don’t have any Mashed Potatoes”  when he is looking right at the basket with potatoes in it.  In his mind those are baked potatoes and can not see them any other way.  It just makes me want to scream, bread is made at home (from frozen dough you get from the stores freezer section) for special occasions like Easter and Christmas.  So imagine what was said when the box with a Smile ended up at our door with a AWESOME Bread Machine in it. 

So if you have not guessed by my ramblings yet, I am forcing my family to EAT REAL!  Well, as much as I can do without being Preachy and Irritating.

I am Bobbie and Married to Big C for 14 years, we have 2 little (not little anymore)  – Little C – 14 year old son, and Little S – 11 year old Daughter.  Not to mention 2 dogs, 1 Australian Cattle Dog, and 1 Chorkie.

I have added a Recipe Page and am looking forward to Filling it up. Maybe someday I will actually Start making a Menu to follow, Keep looking at them.
